With decades of dedication to classical dance, cultural enrichment, and social awareness, our institution has been honored with numerous prestigious awards from government bodies, cultural organizations, and international institutions. These recognitions reflect our continuous commitment to preserving tradition while inspiring future generations.



Prestigious Awards & Recognitions



Our journey began with the esteemed Natya Kalaimani Award (1990), presented by Sevaliyar Muthu Samy Pillai of Natyya Laya School, Chennai—marking an early milestone in artistic excellence.


In 2006, we were again honored with the Natya Kalaimani Award by Kumari Kalai Kazhakam, recognizing our growing contribution to the field of classical dance.


The Kalai Ilamani Award (2016) from the Government of Tamil Nadu further strengthened our reputation as a leading institution in arts and culture.


Our excellence gained international recognition when we received the Best Dance School Award (2018) from the Global Achievers Council, USA.


We were also proud recipients of two Yuva Kala Bharati Awards (2016) from Bharathi Kalai Mantram, celebrating our role in nurturing young talent.



Continued Recognition for Cultural & Social Contributions



Our contributions extend beyond dance into social service and awareness initiatives. In 2021, we received the prestigious Bharatha Mamani Award from the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Tamil Nadu.


This was followed by multiple honors in 2022, including:


  • Makalir Nala Seva Mani Viruthu
  • Samooha Nala Sevai Chemmal



Both awards were presented by the Social Welfare and Rights Department of the Government of Tamil Nadu, acknowledging our impactful community service.


In 2024, we were honored with the Kalaimamani (Arts & Cultural Department, Tamil Nadu Government) and the Kali Nanmoni Award, further highlighting our artistic and cultural contributions.


We also received the Thiruvalluvar Award (2024) in recognition of our extensive awareness programs, particularly in anti-drug campaigns aimed at building a better society.



Recent Honors



Adding to this legacy, we were honored on January 11, 2025, with the Dinamalar Founder Late Thiru Rama Subhayar Award for being one of the best and most senior dance choreographers in Kanyakumari District. This recognition was presented by Dinamalar Director Thiru Dinesh Kumar and former Dean Dr. Arunachalam of Kanyakumari Government Medical College, Nagercoil.
